Student of The Year

Student of The Year

This will be awarded to three winners; the primary section winner, secondary section winner and the higher institutions winner.

Apart from being decent, the candidates and eventual winners of this category must be a whole package socially and academically. They must possess unique qualities in interpersonal skills, public relations and leadership abilities.

The candidates are expected to express interest through an application, accompanied by a recommendation from their head teachers [for primary and secondary schools] or heads of departments/ lecturers [for higher institutions of learning].

Our panel of judges will therefore select the finalists, whose profiles will be shared with the public to know some more about the candidates. The public will therefore, on the basis of these profiles, vote their best candidate. Online voting will contribute 60% to the final results.

On the day of the gala night, these candidates will have to showcase their abilities in decent fashion, public speech and general knowledge, after which the audience in attendance will vote for the winner through secret ballot. The ballot vote will contribute 40% towards the final results.
