Most Decent Politician

Most Decent Politician

Apart from carrying the image of the people they represent at different levels, politicians also represent the image of the entire nation. It is therefore important that they dress and carry themselves in a way that is decent and exemplary.

Whereas this category covers women in politics at national level, we intend to eventually spread out and cover women in politics at local government level as well.

Candidates and eventual winners must be women in elective political office, like members of parliament, as well as cabinet ministers who occupy political office, irrespective of whether or not they went through an election.

These must be decent women in politics, who dress and carry themselves decently, both at work and in public. They must indeed be role models and inspirational figures to the community, especially to the girl child.

Selection of candidates and winners will be based on two aspects. First, on facts established after critical research and observation by our panel; and secondly through public nominations, where members of public will nominate women in politics they think embody decency.

The eventual winner, however, will be based on facts and research by our panel.
